To get redelivery by phone, call on 1-800-275-8777 or 1-800-ASK-USPS. They will ask you your tracking number or article number so keep it with you. If you do not have a tracking number then, in such circumstances, customer care can only give information to the post office to redeliver the item. WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO SCHEDULE OR ACCEPT MY REDELIVERY?
There are two types of available redelivery options given as follows:
Any accountable member of the receiver’s family can schedule and accept redelivery.
The receiver’s agent also can do the same, but for that, you have to fill another form that is PS Form 3801. It is required to authorize a specific individual to schedule and accept redelivery. By filling this form, your agent can pick up your mail on behalf of you at the local Post Office by showing acceptable identification.
An employee of a firm can accept a Redelivery or schedule it. What he/she required is Redelivery information for the business, along with satisfactory identification.
