If it is available, then you will get an option of Redelivery on the right side of the screen from the Available Actions. Now enter all required details.

After acceptance of your request, they will send you a confirmation number, and save it for future reference. You will need it to revise your request.

To get redelivery by phone, call 1-800-275-8777 or 1-800-ASK-USPS. They will ask you for your tracking number or article number so keep it with you. If you do not have a tracking number then, in such circumstances, customer care can only give information to the post office to redeliver the item.

How to Schedule a USPS Redelivery?

There are two types of available redelivery options given as follows:

Residential Redelivery:

Any accountable member of the receiver’s family can schedule and accept redelivery.
The receiver’s agent also can do the same, but for that, you have to fill out another form that is PS Form 3801. It is required to authorize a specific individual to schedule and accept USPS redelivery. By filling out this form, your agent can pick up your mail on behalf of you at the local Post Office by showing acceptable identification.

Business Redelivery:

An employee of a firm can accept a Redelivery or schedule it. What he/she requires is information for the business, along with satisfactory identification.
A mail item can only be redelivered to the original address declared on the mail, and the receiver or official agent must be there to sign for responsible mail items which are having insurance of more than $500.
